To deal with what Governor Attah identified
as "crucial sector programs" which demand
more attention, the summit recommended the following
action program:
A complete overhaul of the educational system
to produce functional and market competitive graduates.
Government should sustain the current momentum
in creating an enabling environment for sustainable
economic development in the State.
A small business development agency should be
established, and a state enterprise development fund
should be instituted o Public institutions should be
deepened to produce competent public administrators
as a prelude to good governance.
Private sector should be encouraged to set up
micro-finance institutions to support entrepreneurial
initiative.
An investment attitudinal change program should
be launched.
