Core recommendations from the summit

To deal with what Governor Attah identified as "crucial sector programs" which demand more attention, the summit recommended the following action program:

• A complete overhaul of the educational system to produce functional and market competitive graduates.
• Government should sustain the current momentum in creating an enabling environment for sustainable economic development in the State.
• A small business development agency should be established, and a state enterprise development fund should be instituted o Public institutions should be deepened to produce competent public administrators as a prelude to good governance.
• Private sector should be encouraged to set up micro-finance institutions to support entrepreneurial initiative.
• An investment attitudinal change program should be launched.
