In accepting an award as “Hero of Anti-Narcotics Movement,” President Aslan Abashidze said “We can save mankind from such a terrible disease as drug-addiction only with unified forces. We must do our best in the 21st century to create healthy generations.”

In bestowing the honor, Vladimir Ivanov, of Moscow, the President of The Public Association “Russia Without Narcotics,” presented a certificate for contributions to develop future generations that are drug-free.

President Abashidze has received wide recognition for his work with youth and his strong opposition to drug addiction.
