Forbes and América Economía rank the IE's MBA
among the best in the world

The IE Business School MBA is among the best in the world, according to the latest international rankings of MBA programs carried out by Forbes in the United States and the leading Latin American journal América Economía.

According to the latest Forbes ranking, IE Business School’s MBA program is positioned 4th in the world outside the United States. This biennial ranking analyses the return on investment made by 4,000 graduates at 102 schools, five years after completing their MBA program. The ranking comprises three categories: MBAs in U.S. schools, and 1-year and 2-year MBAs outside the United States. The top five one-year programs are, in order of ranking position, IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland, INSEAD Fontainbleau, France, Cambridge, IE Business School, and Cranfield, all based in Europe. Forbes’ analysts calculated the time it took graduates to recover their investment and how their salaries have progressed over the last five years. IE Business School’s graduates recovered their investment in 2.1 years. The report states that the five best one-year MBA programs provide a higher return on investment than any of the two-year programs because the opportunity cost, in lost wages, is marginally less.

América Economía also highlights IE’s many activities in Latin America, its links with Latin American business schools, and its development of new programs through the Sumaq Alliance, a consortium of eight leading business schools in Spanish and Portuguese language markets.
